hi, i’m aly
i’m building a career at the intersection of talent, culture, and brand strategy. every campaign, partnership, and pitch is rooted in audience insight and designed for lasting momentum.
my past
i began my career in music. as a music education major at berklee college of music and a working musician, i was immersed in performance, collaboration, and the emotional power of storytelling. over time, i became increasingly drawn to ethnomusicology, the study of music within its cultural, social, and political contexts. i was fascinated by how identity shapes art, how communities form around sound, and how audiences attach meaning to what they consume.
ethnomusicology taught me to analyze culture, not just participate in it. it sharpened my ability to see trends as reflections of larger systems and creative movements as strategic moments within broader conversations. i have always been someone who communicates instinctively, whether on stage, in rehearsal rooms, or in conversation, and that natural inclination toward dialogue and connection became central to how i navigate culture and collaboration.
my present
that curiosity led me to pursue communication management at usc, where i now focus on entertainment marketing, creator partnerships, and brand strategy within culture-driven industries. my work centers on understanding how cultural moments are positioned, amplified, and sustained in a digital-first media landscape.
through influencer partnership proposals, film marketing campaigns, and brand rfp responses, i apply both creative intuition and strategic analysis to every project. i think in terms of audience alignment, long-term value, and measurable impact, ensuring that each partnership or campaign is rooted in credibility rather than noise. academically, i approach my work with rigor and intentionality, translating theory into applied strategy while remaining collaborative, adaptable, and energizing in team environments. i value clear communication, thoughtful collaboration, and bringing a steady sense of enthusiasm to every room i step into.
my future
i am building a career at the intersection of talent, culture, and strategy. my goal is to work in entertainment marketing and management, shaping partnerships and campaigns that feel intentional, culturally aware, and built for longevity.
i want to contribute to teams that understand influence as more than visibility, and that approach talent not just as faces of campaigns, but as long-term brands. behind every artist, creator, and cultural moment is a strategic framework. i want to be the one designing it.
